Looking back at the Japan Science and Technology Agency

as my educational pinnacle

Tadayosi YOSHIMURA

Fukui National College of Technology, Emeritus professor

(Received January 21, 2016; Accepted March 10, 2016)

In anticipation of my approaching retirement from the Fukui National College of Technology, I will hand over its academic activities to younger colleagues.  I look back upon my tenure at the Japan Science and Technology Agency as the culmination of my education and research.  Stemming from the academic activities of computer chemistry and technology education, I'm editing a journal that is written in Japanese.  Responsibility for this journal must be assumed by junior researchers.

I am teaching the students what they will need to know to be capable of creating documents and reports necessary for writing a laboratory notebook in Japanese.  Additionally, since 2014, I have been writing for the monthly feature in Chemistry, gJapanese in Science and Technology.h

Key words: Japan Science and Technology Agency, Japanese in Science and Technology, journal written in Japanese
