The
Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology announced a plan
to practice gthinking educationh beginning with the stage of elementary school
at which students can cultivate communication skills. Policies that incorporate the content to
be taught in the New Course of Study Guidance for 2020 are being studied. We have assumed that elementary school
teachers practice "thinking education." A faculty member who is from a literary
school needs materials and a teaching environment in which a programming
language is activated simply by switch on.
If you use an IchigoJam PC, simply turn it on,
and the IchigoJam-BASIC language interpreter screen
will be displayed. We have developed
an introductory practice book for implementing programming in each elementary-level
subject.
Key words: development of programming teaching
materials, IchigoJam-BASIC language, cross-cutting
education, thinking education, New Course of Study Guidance for 2020
