Abstract

p-Nitrophenol (PNP), which is a persistent compound, was decomposed via batch-type electrolytic treatment by nanocrystalline diamond/amorphous carbon composite film (NCD/a-C) prepared by coaxial arc plasma deposition (CAPD). Furthermore, it was confirmed that the current density in the electrolytic treatment affected the decomposition performance of PNP, and PNP could be completely decomposed by long-lasting electrolytic treatment.
